The legendary Cuban ensemble is not just one of the many Cuban music bands, but it is rather the symbol of Cuban music. And still, let’s not forget about music projects such as Los Van Van, Siera Maestra, Pupy y Los Que Son Son, Benny More, Elito Reve<\/em>, and many more. <\/p>\n Buena Vista Social Club<\/em> was established in 1932, named after the neighbourhood of the same name that hosted the first concerts of the band (near Marianao, Havana).<\/a><\/p>\n ngg_shortcode_0_placeholderA lot of popular musicians have performed in the band: the deceased Ibrahim Ferrer and Compay Segundo, the marvellous Omara Portuondo.
