There are no restaurants or bars here, just the ocean reefs and the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park, named after the German scientist. The road from Baracoa is in terrible condition, but it will show you extraordinary picturesque views with lots of rivers and bridges. However, because of the common hurricanes and the lack of maintenance the roads here are often closed when it rains. When the weather is calm, the beach is very suitable for diving amongst the reefs.
